Time-Tracking Fields
Original estimate, Remaining estimate, and Time spent appear just as your team sees them in Jira.
- Jira format (2w 2d) - a new Time unit in Custom Charts and Issue List, with sums and averages shown in hours
- Working-day Days - Days on time-tracking fields follow your site's working day from Jira settings, so a value in days matches what Jira shows
- Pivot Table - choose a format for each time-tracking field in Field Formatting: Hours, Days, or Jira format. Your choice carries through row and column values, Sum, Average, Min and Max, totals, chart axes, and tooltips
- Time in Status - time-tracking columns appear in Jira format in the tables
- Custom Charts - Chart By and Group By on a time-tracking field label each value in your chosen Time unit (for example 4h or 0.5d)
- Issue Filter Formula - DAYS() and WEEKS() follow your site's working day and working week
Custom Charts
- Dates panel - organize date fields in two lists: On the chart (drag to set the order) and Other date fields (click the eye to add one). Each new date field loads on its own while the chart stays on screen
All Gadgets
- Field ids for same-name fields - when two Jira fields share a name, every field picker shows the field id alongside it, for example Field_Name (customfield_10050), so you always pick the right one

Release Burndown & Burnup
Release Burndown & Burnup tracks a whole release over time and forecasts when it will finish. Pick custom dates, a project release, or a sprint as the timeframe, and draw up to nine series - Ideal Burndown, Ideal Burnup, Remaining, Burned, Scope, and four dashed forecast lines. The forecast uses your real velocity, can also account for scope growth, and explains itself in a sentence below the chart. Mark milestones by percentage, by date, or with your own labels; past milestones turn red or green to show whether they were reached. Epics and Portfolio-level items are available as data sources in this gadget.
Custom Charts
- Dates field - plot several date fields over time on one chart, on either axis
- Created vs Resolved template - created and resolved work items per day over the past 30 days, as two lines
- Time calculations can now be shown in minutes, hours, or days, and the Time unit appears in General whenever a calculation measures time
Admin Settings
- Used by - every setting and every data source now lists the gadgets it applies to, next to a short What it does description
- Save changes and Discard - a bar at the bottom shows when you have unsaved changes, and Discard throws them away. Saved changes reach gadgets that are already open, without a refresh
- Documentation link at the top right of the Admin page, which opens this user guide
- A turned-off data source now blocks the gadget completely: it shows This data source is turned off instead of its data and loads nothing
- New data source toggles - the Data Sources tab now has three groups: Jira sources, Time in Status sources (Assignee, Reporter, Epic, Label, Sprint), and Portfolio sources (Epics, Portfolio-level items)

Previously in v5.2.0
Eight new gadgets. v5.2.0 brought the app to eighteen gadgets. This release covers delivery metrics, sprint capacity forecasting, work breakdown, standup boards, and two gadgets that need no Jira data at all.
Flow Metrics
Three gadgets built on changelog analysis, each answering a different delivery question:
- Histogram Chart - the frequency distribution of cycle or lead time. Split the range into equal intervals or your own comma-separated thresholds, then read the slow tail directly off the chart.
- Cycle Time Trend - one bar per interval showing average cycle time, with a linear or polynomial trendline and an overall-average figure. Intervals run from one week to eight weeks, calendar months, or the board's own sprints.
- WIP Run Chart - work-in-progress over time, with three WIP rules (status category, board middle columns, or an explicit status list), optional max and min limits with breach highlighting, and splitting by any field.
Team Wallboard
Team Wallboard puts work items on the dashboard as cards, grouped into the board's own columns or into status categories. Seven swimlane modes, the board's own Jira Quick Filters, per-status-category card colors, compact cards for wall displays, and PDF or CSV export.
Work Breakdown Structure
Work Breakdown Structure shows your issues as an expandable tree. Hierarchy View nests them by parent and child, as deep as the real chain goes - Epic to Story to Sub-task. Linked Work Items View instead maps an issue's dependency web, grouped by relationship type, up to five hops out. Switch between a compact tree and a table with your own columns, and export the flattened tree as CSV.
Kanban Velocity
Kanban Velocity draws completed work per interval as a bar chart with a rolling Average Velocity line. Turning on the Backlog forecast adds a third view that works down your board's backlog in rank order and projects a completion date for every item, using the velocity you actually achieved rather than an estimate.
Regional Clock and Countdown
Two gadgets that read no Jira data at all:
- Regional Clock - the current time and date for a chosen region and time zone, or each viewer's own local time
- Countdown - the time remaining until a release, go-live, or deadline, optionally counting only workdays
Board in Every Gadget
Board is now available in every gadget that reads Jira data, including Custom Charts, Issue List, and the Dynamic Filter Controller. Selecting a board resolves the board's own filter automatically, so the gadget stays correct when someone edits the board in Jira.
Admin Controls
Each new gadget has its own toggle in Admin Settings → Features, so they can be rolled out one at a time.

Existing gadget configurations are unchanged. The new gadgets appear in the Add Gadget dialog once the app updates, and all are enabled by default - turn off any you do not want available from Admin Settings → Features.
Previously in v5.1.0
Three new gadgets. v5.1.0 brought the app to ten gadgets, adding predictability and sprint tracking on top of the original reporting set.
- Control Chart - cycle time and lead time of every completed item as a scatter chart, with average, rolling average, standard deviation band, threshold, and up to five percentile lines. Define exactly which workflow transitions start and end the cycle, and choose how repeat entries and repeated cycles are counted.
- Sprint Burndown & Burnup - sprint progress day by day across five series: remaining, burned, scope, ideal burndown, and ideal burnup. Seven measures are supported, from story points to work item count to any numeric custom field. Selecting Latest sprint (auto) keeps the gadget correct across sprint boundaries with no re-editing.
- Issue Filter Formula - KPIs that a single query cannot express. Define up to nine variables - each with its own data source, JQL, and aggregation - then combine them with math formulas and display the result as a number, a number colored by value, a gauge, or a star rating.
Board as a Data Source
Board became a first-class data source alongside Projects, Saved Filters, Custom JQL, and the Dynamic Filter Controller. Selecting a board resolves the board's own filter automatically; Scrum boards are scoped to open sprints.
Admin Controls
- Per-gadget feature toggles - every gadget gained its own toggle in Admin Settings, so gadgets can be rolled out to a site one at a time
- Board source restriction - Boards can be allowed or blocked in the Data Sources tab like any other source type

Improved Admin Controls
The Admin Settings panel has been expanded with clearer organization and new options:
- Per-feature toggles - Admins can now independently enable or disable Custom Charts, Issue List, Dynamic Filter Controller, and Templates from a single screen
- Data source restrictions - Restrict which data sources (Projects, Saved Filters, JQL, Controller) are available to end users
- Export controls - Enable or disable PNG, PDF, and CSV export independently per export format
Display Options Enhancements
Several long-requested Display Options have been added across all chart types:
- Tooltip formatting - Choose between count, percentage, or both for pie and funnel chart tooltips
- Axis label truncation control - Set a maximum character length for x-axis labels to prevent overflow on bar charts with long segment names
- Gridline visibility toggle - Show or hide horizontal gridlines on bar and line charts independently
Issue List
Drag-and-Drop Reordering: You can now use drag-and-drop to easily rearrange and change the position of columns in the Issue List.
