Getting Started
Quick Start Guide
Import your first set of subtasks in about five minutes.
Before You Start
- Subtask Importer is installed and enabled for your project
- You have a parent issue in Jira
- You have a small sheet ready: a header row and 3 to 5 rows, with at least a Summary column
Steps
- Open the parent issue in Jira and find the Subtask Importer panel.
- Upload your CSV or Excel file, or link a Google Sheet.
- Review the mapping. Check the field the AI suggested for each column. Change any that are wrong.
- Review the rows in the preview editor. Fix anything flagged.
- Confirm the import. The subtasks are created under the parent issue.
- Check the result on the parent issue and in the import history.
