The App Does Not Appear After Install
Refresh the page or clear your browser cache. Installation can take a few minutes to show up.
The Panel Is Missing on an Issue
The app may be disabled for that project. Ask an admin to check Per-Project Settings.
The AI Mapped a Column to the Wrong Field
Change the mapping before you confirm. Your correction is remembered and improves later suggestions. If the header is unclear, rename it in the sheet.
An Assignee Was Not Matched
Check three things:
- The person exists in your Jira instance and is an active user.
- The person is a member of the project (assignable in it). A user who exists on the site but is not in the project cannot be assigned there.
- The cell uses the person's email address. Names may be ambiguous or spelled differently from the Jira profile.
Correct the cell in the preview editor, or add the user to the project and import again.
A Row Is Flagged as a Type Mismatch
The value does not fit the mapped field. A common case is text such as "3 pts" in a story points column. Edit the value, or change the mapping.
A Custom Field Is Missing from the Mapping List
The list comes from the project's create metadata. Check that the field is available on the subtask create screen for that project.
Dates Look Wrong
Ambiguous formats such as 04/05/2026 can be read in a different order than you meant. Use ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) or a month name in the source.
The Import Is Over the Row Limit
Split the sheet into smaller files, or ask your admin about the project's row limit (maximum 1,000).
A Google Sheet Will Not Load
Check that the sheet is published to the web as CSV (File → Share → Publish to the web → Comma-separated values (.csv) → Publish). "Share → Anyone with link" is not enough. Paste the published URL, not the normal sheet link, into the Import from Google Sheets field.
